Taylor Swift released a re-recorded version of 'Back To December' on June 29, one week before the release of her 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' album.

Swifties are heading "Back To December" despite the fact that it is June! On June 29, Taylor Swift released her song "Back to December (Taylor's Version)" in conjunction with the premiere of the Season 2 teaser for The Summer I Turned Pretty.

The 33-year-old rushed to Twitter to share the re-recorded song as well as the trailer for the programme. "Crying (Taylor's Version)," she captioned the video humorously. The original song was published in 2010 and was on her album Speak Now, which will be re-issued on July 7.

Soon after the song was shown in the trailer, numerous Swifties flocked to the comments section of her tweet to express their delight at receiving the single one week before the album's release. "NO IM CRYING HELLO?!" one admirer joked at the singer, while another added, "LITERALLY CRYING!" Many of the blonde beauty's followers also gushed about the hit song in the comments section of the show's teaser tweet. "I'M ALREADY SOBBING AND I'VE REWATCHED THIS TOO MANY TIMES," one fan joked, while another said, "Not back to December," with sobbing emojis.

As Swifties are aware, the song was created with Taylor's ex Taylor Lautner, 31, in mind. During a 2016 interview with Lea Michele and John Stamos (see here), the Twilight star confirmed this. Swift and Lautner dated for a short time in 2009 after meeting on the set of the film Valentine's Day the same year. In the song, she sings, "I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile / So good to me, so right," referring to the 31-year-old.
