The BCCI Naman Awards 2026, held on March 15, 2026, celebrated the outstanding performances of Indian cricketers during the 2024–25 season. India’s Test captains Shubman Gill and Smriti Mandhana emerged as the biggest winners of the night, receiving top honours for their exceptional contributions to international cricket.

Best International Cricketer (Men): Shubman Gill

 

Best International Cricketer (Women): Smriti Mandhana

 

Gill was honoured with the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award, marking his second win after previously receiving it in 2023. Mandhana, on the other hand, won the award for a record fifth time, continuing her dominance in women’s cricket.

 

 

 Lifetime Achievement Award

 

The Colonel C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honour awarded by the BCCI, was presented to:

Shubman Gill

 

Shubman Gill enjoyed a remarkable year in international cricket. During India’s tour of England, he scored 754 runs in five Tests at an impressive average of 75.40, including four centuries and a highest score of 269. He also played a crucial role in India’s Champions Trophy victory, finishing the tournament with impactful performances, including an unbeaten 101 against Bangladesh.

 

 

Smriti Mandhana

 

Smriti Mandhana had a historic 2025 season, scoring a total of 1,703 international runs. Out of these, 1,362 runs came in ODIs, the highest ever by a female cricketer in a single calendar year. She also became the first player in women’s ODI history to score over 1,000 runs in a year, setting a new benchmark in the sport.
