India-Austria Friendship to Strengthen in the Future: PM Modi Ahead of Talks with Austrian Chancellor

Mr. Modi arrived in Austria from Moscow on Tuesday evening on a two-day visit, the first by an Indian Prime Minister in over 40 years. This is the first meeting between the two leaders. Modi expressed optimism about the future of India-Austria relations ahead of his official discussions with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.

 

In a statement issued before the meeting, PM Modi emphasized the historic ties between the two nations and highlighted the potential for deeper collaboration. "India and Austria share a rich history of friendship and mutual respect. Our discussions today will pave the way for a stronger partnership in the years to come," he said.

 

The official talks between PM Modi and Chancellor Nehammer are anticipated to yield significant agreements and announcements that will shape the future of India-Austria relations. Both leaders are committed to leveraging their countries' strengths to address common challenges and seize opportunities for growth and development
