New Delhi: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a magnificent temple in Abu Dhabi, UAE, marking the initiation of the Bochsanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) temple. Another temple is now under construction in the Muslim country of Bahrain, expanding the cultural presence in the region.

Following the inauguration of the Bochsanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) temple, the expansion continues with the construction of another temple in the Muslim country of Bahrain. The necessary land has been secured and all formalities for the temple's establishment have been fulfilled. Construction is set to commence shortly, further enriching the cultural landscape in Bahrain.

The upcoming temple in Bahrain is planned to be on par with the grandeur of the one in Abu Dhabi. The construction, undertaken by Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha of Bochsan, is expected to incur a substantial cost, similar to the Rs 700 crore invested in the Abu Dhabi temple. Notably, a delegation from BAPS has already met with Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, solidifying the collaborative efforts for this significant project.
