According to a press release, Air India kept the red and white colours in its emblem, with a touch of purple. The new logo will be known as 'The Vista.' 'The Vista' is inspired by the pinnacle of the gold window frame, and represents infinite possibilities, progressiveness, and the airline's bold, confident perspective for the future. As part of the celebration, the airline unveiled its new tail design and theme music. According to Tata Sons Chairman Chandrashekaran, the logo represents infinite potential and confidence.

The new brand identity was created in collaboration with the brand transformation firm FutureBrand.

The new aircraft colour and design comprises a mix of deep crimson, aubergine, and gold highlights, as well as a chakra-inspired pattern. It also has an eye-catching new custom-made 'Air India Sans' font that combines confidence with warmth to represent Air India as premium, inclusive, and accessible. Passengers will begin to notice the new logo throughout their voyage in December 2023, when the carrier's first A350 enters the fleet with the new livery. according to the airline.

The new logo, according to Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran, depicts infinite potential, growth, and confidence. Today is a significant milestone because the new Air India, the vision we have for the airline, is set against the backdrop of a revived India, where everyone's hopes are limitless.

According to Campbell Wilson, Air India CEO & MD, "Our transformational new identity reflects our vision to make Air India a world-class airline servicing guests from all over the world, and it proudly represents a new India on the global arena."
