The Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowlers delivered a clinical performance to restrict the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to a modest total of 172/8 in the high-pressure IPL Eliminator match on Wednesday night. 

Trent Boult was the wrecker-in-chief for RR, taking an impressive 4 wickets while conceding just 16 runs in his four overs. His economical opening spell, which included 3 wickets in his first 3 overs for a mere 6 runs, set the tone for the Royals. Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also played a crucial role, picking up 2 wickets to keep the RCB batsmen in check.

This win puts Rajasthan Royals in a strong position, as they progress to Qualifier 2 of the IPL playoffs. They will now wait for the winner of the upcoming Eliminator match to determine their opponent.
