Indian Student’s Body Found in Russian Dam 19 Days After Disappearance

Tragic end for Indian student in Russia — body recovered from dam 19 days after disappearance.

The body of an Indian student, who had been missing for nearly three weeks, was found in a dam in Russia, shocking the Indian community and fellow students studying abroad. The student was reported missing 19 days ago after last being seen near his university campus. Local authorities launched an intensive search operation that eventually led to the discovery of his body in a nearby water reservoir.

According to reports, the student was pursuing his studies in Russia and had gone missing under mysterious circumstances. The Indian Embassy in Moscow has been in contact with local police officials to ensure a thorough investigation. Preliminary findings suggest no external injuries, but further forensic examinations are underway to determine the exact cause of death.

Family members in India have been notified and are coordinating with authorities for the repatriation of the body. This tragic incident has once again raised concerns about the safety and wellbeing of Indian students studying abroad, urging educational institutions and governments to strengthen support systems for international students.

The Indian government has expressed condolences to the bereaved family and assured all possible assistance. Meanwhile, fellow students have organized a candlelight vigil to pay tribute to their lost friend, calling for better safety measures and awareness for those pursuing education ov
