Wardha is one of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, encompassing areas in the Amravati and Wardha districts. It includes six Vidhan Sabha segments and had a population of approximately 105,543 according to the 2011 census. Historically, the Wardha Lok Sabha seat has been a Congress party stronghold, with the party holding power for over 38 years since the first election in 1951, which was won by Shriman Narayan Agrawal.
The election for this constituency was successfully conducted on April 26th, with a voter turnout of 64.85 percent. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP's Ramdas Tadas won with 578,364 votes, defeating Congress's Charulata Tokas, who received 391,173 votes.
