INC candidate Satpal Brahamchari wins by 21,816 votes and received total 5,48,682 votes. INC candidate Satpal Brahamchari defeated BJP's Mohan Lal Badoli, who received 5,26,866 votes.

Sonipat Election Result Highlights: Satpal Brahamchari, candidate of the Indian National Congress won the Sonipat, Haryana Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,48,682 votes. BJP's Mohan Lal Badoli lost the election by a margin of by 21,816 votes. 

 

In Sonipat 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Satpal Brahamchari, candidate of the Indian National Congress defeated BJP's Mohan Lal Badoli, who received 5,26,866 votes.

Sonipat is one of the 22 districts of Haryana. Sonipat city is also the district headquarters. It is part of the National Capital Region. It borders Delhi, Panipat, Rohtak, Jind, Jhajjar and Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh). The district was carved out of the erstwhile Rohtak district on December 22, 1972. Its area is 2,260 square meters. It has a total population of 1,450,001 as per the 2011 census. The literacy rate of the district is 73.71 per cent. The district comprises three sub-divisions - Ganaur, Sonipat and Gohana. They are further divided into four tehsils - Ganaur, Sonipat, Kharkhoda and Gohana. They are divided into seven blocks: Ganaur, Sonipat, Rai, Kharkhoda, Gohana, Kathura and Mundlana. The Sonipat Lok Sabha seat is considered to be the second largest in Haryana in terms of the proportion of influence of Jats. Two other candidates have also won from the seat. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has once again bet on Ramesh Kaushik.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Congress's Bhupinder Singh Hooda came second with 4,22,800 votes, while JJP's Digvijay Singh Chautala came third with 51,162 votes
