Praniti Sushilkumar Shinde of the Indian National Congress won the 2024 Solapur Lok Sabha election, defeating Ram Vitthal Satpute of the BJP by 74,197 votes.

In Solapur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Praniti Sushilkumar Shinde of the Indian National Congress is declared the winner, securing 620225 votes and surpassing Ram Vitthal Satpute of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 74197 votes.

Solapur, a city and Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra is located in the southwestern region near the Karnataka border. Historically, this constituency has been a stronghold for the Congress party, notably represented three times by former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. The election for this constituency was successfully conducted on May 7th, with a voter turnout of 59.19 percent.

 

In the 2019 elections, BJP's Jay Sidheshwar Swami won 524,985 votes, while Sushil Kumar Shinde of the Congress secured the second position with 366,377 votes.
