In Shirdi Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Bhausaheb Rajaram Wakchaure of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) is declared the winner, securing 476900 votes and surpassing Lokhande Sadashiv Kisan of the Shiv Sena by 50529 votes.

Shirdi, located in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district, is famous for the Sai Baba temple, a significant pilgrimage site. According to the 2011 census, Shirdi had a population of 36,004. Previously part of the Kopargaon parliamentary area, the Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency was established in 2008. Despite strongholds by Congress-NCP and BJP in the assembly seats, the Shiv Sena candidate has consistently won this Lok Sabha seat since 2009. The election for this constituency was successfully held on May 13th, with a voter turnout of 61.13 percent.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Sadashiv Lokhande won with 486,820 votes, defeating Congress's Bhausaheb Kamble, who received 366,625 votes.
