SP's Laxmikant Pappu Nishad Wins by 92,170 Votes and received total 4,98,695 votes. SP's Laxmikant Pappu Nishad defeated BJP's Pravin Kumar Nishad who received 4,06,525 votes.

Sambhal Election Result Highlights: Laxmikant Pappu Nishad, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Sambhal constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 4,98,695 votes. BJP's Pravin Kumar Nishad lost the election by a margin of by 92,170 votes.

 

In Sambhal Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Zia Ur Rehman, candidate of the Samajwadi Party defeated BJP's Pravin Kumar Nishad, who received 4,06,525 votes.

The headquarters of Sant Kabir Nagar district is Khalilabad. The district is bounded on the north by Siddharth Nagar and Maharajganj, on the east by Gorakhpur, on the south by Ambedkar Nagar and on the west by Basti district. Ghaghra, Kuano, Ami and Rapti are the major rivers flowing here. On 5 September 1997, Sant Kabir Nagar was separated from Basti and came into existence as a new district of the state. Earlier it was a part of Basti district.

 

Sant Kabir Nagar, named after the great saint and poet Kabir Das, is one of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh and its seat number is 62. This seat came into existence 11 years ago and Sant Kabir Nagar was given the status of a parliamentary seat in 2008 after the recommendation made by the Delimitation Commission formed in 2002.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Praveen Kumar Nishad of BJP won by 4,67,543 votes, Bhishma Shankar Tiwari of BSP got 4,31,794 votes and Bhal Chandra Yadav of Congress got 1,28,506 votes
