In Sangli Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Vishal (Dada) Prakashbapu Patil who contested independently is declared the winner, securing 571666 votes and surpassing Sanjay (Kaka) Patil of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 100053 votes.

The Sangli Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra was historically dominated by the Congress party, holding control from 1962 to 2014, a span of 52 years. Even during challenging periods for Congress, such as the Emergency, the party consistently secured victories in this constituency.

 

In the 2019 elections, BJP's Sanjaykaka Patil emerged victorious with 508,995 votes, while SWP's Vishal Patil received 344,643 votes and VBA's Gopichand Padalkar received 300,234 votes. The election for this constituency was successfully held on May 7th, with a voter turnout of 62.27 percent.
