INC candidate Deepender Singh Hooda wins by 3,45,298 votes and received total 7,83,578 votes. INC candidate Deepender Singh Hooda defeated BJP's Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, who received 4,38,280 votes.

Rohtak Election Result Highlights: Deepender Singh Hooda, candidate of the Indian National Congress won the Rohtak Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 7,83,578 votes. BJP's Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma lost the election by a margin of by 3,45,298 votes. 

 

In Rohtak 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Deepender Singh Hooda, candidate of the Indian National Congress defeated BJP's Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, who received 4,38,280 votes.

Rohtak is one of the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana. The constituency covers the entire Rohtak and Jhajjar districts and part of Rewari district. Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency comprises nine assembly segments. This Lok Sabha constituency is located in the south-eastern part of the state. Its headquarter is located in Rohtak. It is a part of Rohtak district. The total area covered by Rohtak is 1,745 square kilometres.

 

According to the 2011 census, Rohtak district had a population of 10.61 lakh. The district has a sex ratio of 867 females for every 1000 males. The literacy rate of Rohtak district is 80.22 per cent with 87.65 per cent male and 71.72 per cent female literates. The district is bounded by Delhi to the northwest, Jind and Sonipat districts to the north, Jhajjar and Sonipat districts to the east, Hisar, Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani districts to the west.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: BJP's Arvind Kumar Sharma won by 5,73,845 votes, Congress' Deepender Singh Hooda got 5,66,342 votes and JJP's Pradeep Deswal got 21,211 votes
