Radha Mohan Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Purvi Champaran constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with 542,193 votes, defeating Dr. Rajesh Kumar of the Vikassheel Insaan Party by 88,287 votes.

In the recent 2019 elections, BJP's Radha Mohan Singh won decisively with 574,081 votes, while RLSP's Akash Prasad Singh was the runner-up with 281,500 votes.
