In Pune Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Murlidhar Mohol of the Bharatiya Janata Party is declared the winner, securing 584728 votes and surpassing Dhangekar Ravindra Hemraj of the Indian National Congress by 123038 votes.

Pune, formerly known as Poona until 1978, is a significant Lok Sabha constituency and the second-largest city in Maharashtra. The election for this constituency was successfully conducted on May 13th, with a voter turnout of 51.25 percent.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Pune witnessed a competitive race between Congress stalwart Mohan Joshi and Bharatiya Janata Party's Girish Bhalchandra Bapat. Girish Bapat emerged victorious with 632,835 votes, followed by Mohan Joshi with 308,207 votes, and Anil Jadhav with 64,793 votes.
