PM Modi To Unveil Historic Developments During His Ayodhya Visit Today

Ayodhya: In a momentous one-day visit to Ayodhya, PM Narendra Modi will take center stage as he inaugurates a slew of transformative development projects. The visit will see the laying of the foundation stone for the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, symbolizing a new era for the region. With a focus on propelling Ayodhya into a hub of progress, Modi will unveil projects of worth of Rs 15,700 crore. The redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station is a key highlight, showcasing the government's commitment to modernizing infrastructure.

As part of the extensive agenda, the Prime Minister will flag off six Vande Bharat Express trains, fostering enhanced connectivity between various stations across the country. The routes include Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to New Delhi, Amritsar to New Delhi, Coimbatore to Bangalore, Mangalore to Madgaon, Jalna to Mumbai, and Ayodhya to Anand Vihar terminals.

In a move to bolster regional connectivity, Modi will also inaugurate train services connecting Ayodhya to Darbhanga and Malda Town. Notably, two Amrit Bharat trains from Bangalore are set to be flagged off, marking a significant stride in the government's commitment to improving transportation networks.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Ayodhya will encompass a thorough inspection of key infrastructural developments. This includes the widening of the Lucknow-Ayodhya section of National Highway 27 and the 121 km expansion of the Ayodhya Bypass, signaling a commitment to enhancing the city's connectivity and transportation networks.

The visit heralds significant advancements in air travel, as direct flights connecting Ayodhya to Bengaluru and Kolkata are set to commence from January 17. Earlier this month, the launch of direct flights between Ayodhya and Delhi had been announced, reflecting an effort to bolster regional and national air connectivity.

Scheduled to reach the airport around 10.40 am, PM Modi will be welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak and other ministers. Subsequently, a 15 km rally along Prime Minister Modi Dharmapath and Rampath is planned, adding a ceremonial touch to the visit. The journey will culminate with the Prime Minister's arrival at the railway station at 11.30 am.
