PM Modi: BJP Set to Clinch 370 Seats Independently, NDA Aims for 400

PM Modi confidently predicts that the NDA will exceed 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. He specifically highlights the BJP's anticipated standalone success with 370 seats, attributing it to public trust, particularly in appreciation of the abrogation of Article 370. Interestingly, even Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge agrees with this expectation, said PM Modi.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented a vote of thanks in the Lok Sabha in response to the President's address, vehemently directing criticism towards the opposition. It is noteworthy that the current parliamentary session is focused on the budget, commencing with President Draupadi Murmu's address, for which PM Modi expressed gratitude.

He asserted, "Agencies are taking action against corrupt individuals," acknowledging the prevalent discontent and powerful expressions of anger. Understanding the frustration and grievances expressed, PM Modi emphasized the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures. He highlighted the stark contrast to the past, where agencies were allegedly misused for political gains.

PM Modi remarked on the inflation during the UPA regime, recalling the double-digit inflation and contrasting it with the present government's success in keeping inflation under control, despite challenges like wars and a century-defining crisis. He praised the contribution of women in empowering the rural economy, citing the significant involvement of 10 crore sisters in women self-help groups and the creation of one crore lakhpati didis, with the aim of reaching three crore.

Addressing the Congress party, PM Modi criticized its historical treatment of Karpoori Thakur, a champion of democracy and constitutional values. He celebrated the increasing influence of women across various sectors, from space to sports, and highlighted the positive shift in societal attitudes towards daughters.

Reflecting on the construction of the Ram Temple, PM Modi emphasized its cultural significance and pledged to lay a robust foundation for India's prosperity in the next 100 years during the third term. He criticized the Congress's family-centric approach, expressing optimism about the opposition's commitment to enduring efforts.

PM Modi remarked that the opposition has reached such depths that there's a possibility they might find themselves in the public gallery rather than the opposition benches post-elections. He criticized nepotism within political parties, contrasting it with BJP's Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, who have their next generations involved in politics without creating family-centric parties. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi suggested the party disappeared amid attempts to launch and relaunch a failed product (referring to him), resulting in the departure of veteran leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad. He also pointed out the strategic shift of Mallikarjun Kharge from Lok Sabha to Rajya Sabha.

Acknowledging the opposition's resolution, PM Modi appreciated their dedication, envisioning their sustained presence and potential elevation. He urged the opposition to offer constructive suggestions rather than divisive rhetoric, holding the Congress party accountable for the opposition's current state, citing a missed opportunity for effective opposition during their ten-year rule.
