Phulpur Election Result Highlights: Praveen Patel, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Phulpur constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 4,52,600 votes. SP's Amar Nath Singh Maurya lost the election by a margin of by 4,732 votes.

Phulpur is a city and a municipal council in Prayagraj district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is known for being the Lok Sabha seat from where Jawaharlal Nehru was elected to the Indian Parliament. There is also an assembly seat in Phulpur. Its estimated population in 2001 was 21,066. Of these, 54 per cent were men and 46 per cent were women.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Keshari Devi Patel of BJP won in this seat by getting 5,44,701 votes. SP's Pandhari Yadav came second with 3,72,733 votes and Congress's Pankaj Patel was third with 32,761 votes.
