Patna: A surge in political activity has been observed in Bihar, with the impending hours holding significant importance. Tensions between the RJD and JDU are escalating, and reports suggest a possible coalition between BJP and JDU to form the government again. The swearing-in ceremony is anticipated to occur on January 28 at the Raj Bhavan, where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may take the oath for another term.
Speculation within political circles hints at Nitish Kumar's potential resignation within the next 24 hours, paving the way for a new government in collaboration with the BJP. Sushil Modi is being considered for the role of Deputy Chief Minister, with the BJP expressing openness to political possibilities. Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had remarked on the closed doors for Nitish Kumar, but recent developments suggest a reevaluation. BJP leaders are focusing on building trust among local leaders and activists before finalizing any government formation with JDU. Meetings with district presidents and office bearers are scheduled, emphasizing the need for confidence-building in Bihar. Bihar BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde is set to depart for Bihar tomorrow morning, and former Chief Minister HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi had previously hinted at changes in Bihar post-January 20.
Commenting on the situation, BJP leader Nitin Naveen stated that the central leadership would make decisions regarding the evolving scenario. Earlier, on Karpoori Thakur's birthday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had expressed opposition to dynasticism, indicating a potential alignment with Prime Minister Modi.
