Pradyut Bordoloi of the Indian National Congress won the Nagaon constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election by securing 788,850 votes, defeating Suresh Borah of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 212,231 votes.

In Nagaon Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Pradyut Bordoloi of the Indian National Congress is declared the winner, securing 788850 votes and surpassing Suresh Borah of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 212231 votes.

The Nawgong seat experienced a series of consecutive victories by Congress, starting from the first Lok Sabha election and continuing through the sixth. After this period, the Asom Gana Parishad gained control of the seat for three consecutive terms. In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, Congress candidate Pradyut Bordoloi emerged victorious in Nawgong, securing 739,724 votes.
