Anil Yeshwant Desai of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) won the Mumbai South Central constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 53,384 votes.

In Mumbai South Central Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Anil Yeshwant Desai of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) is declared the winner, securing 395138 votes and surpassing Rahul Ramesh Shewale of Shiv Sena by 53384 votes.

The Mumbai South Central Lok Sabha constituency is one of Maharashtra's 48 parliamentary constituencies. Following delimitation in 2008, it now includes six Vidhan Sabha constituencies: Anushakti Nagar, Chembur, Dharavi (SC), Sion Koliwada, Wadala, and Mahim. From 1952 to 1989, this seat alternated between the Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist). In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Sena's Rahul Ramesh Shewale won with 424,913 votes, while Congress's Eknath Mahadev Gaikwad came in second with 272,774 votes.
