In the 2024 Mumbai North West Lok Sabha election, Ravindra Dattaram Waikar of Shiv Sena narrowly won by 48 votes, securing 452,644 votes against Amol Gajanan Kirtikar of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray).

In Mumbai North West Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Ravindra Dattaram Waikar of Shiv Sena is declared the winner, securing 452644 votes and surpassing Amol Gajanan Kirtikar of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) by 452596 votes.

The Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency, consisting of six Vidhan Sabha constituencies, became notable due to Sunil Dutt, an actor-turned-politician who served as an MP from this seat for 18 years with the Congress party. The election for this constituency was successfully held on May 20th, with a voter turnout of 53.67 percent.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Sena's Gajanan Chandrakant Kirtikar won with 570,063 votes, defeating Congress's Sanjay Brijkishorlal Nirupam, who received 309,735 votes.
