This Lok Sabha constituency is also famous for things made of pink stone and copper. The famous Chunar Fort is also in the same Lok Sabha constituency.
Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Anupriya Singh Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) won in this seat, getting 5,91,564 votes. SP's Ram Charitra Nishad came second with 3,59,556 votes and Congress's Lalitesh Pati Tripathi came third with 91,501 votes.
