In Maharajganj Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Janardan Singh “Sigriwal” of the Bharatiya Janata Party is declared the winner, securing 529533 votes and surpassing Aakash Kumar Singh of the Indian National Congress by 102651 votes.

The Maharajganj Lok Sabha constituency, spanning the districts of Saran and Siwan in Bihar, is strategically located near the Uttar Pradesh border and near the Gopalganj district. It presents a unique socio-political dynamic with a predominant Rajput demographic and a significant Yadav population.

 

In the 2019 elections, BJP's Janardan Singh Sigriwal won the seat, defeating RJD's Randhir Singh and BSP's Aniruddh Prasad (Sadhu Yadav), solidifying BJP's dominance in the area.
