BJP's Vishnu Datt Sharma wins by 5,41,229 votes and received total 7,72,774 votes. BJP's Vishnu Datt Sharma defeated BSP candidate Kamlesh Kumar, who received 2,31,545 votes.

Khajuraho Election Result Highlights: Vishnu Datt Sharma, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 7,72,774 votes. BSP candidate Kamlesh Kumar lost the election by a margin of by 5,41,229 votes. 

 

In Khajuraho 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Vishnu Datt Sharma, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated BSP candidate Kamlesh Kumar, who received 2,31,545 votes.

Khajuraho is an assembly constituency in Madhya Pradesh. The seat was won by BJP leader Uma Bharti. However, he was defeated on this seat. He has also lost an election. Uma Bharti has won 4 Lok Sabha elections from Khajuraho. There are 8 Lok Sabha constituencies in Gujarat. The assembly constituencies are Chandla, Gunnaur, Murwara, Rajnagar, Panna, Bahoriband, Powai and Vijayraghavgarh.


According to the 2011 census, Khajuraho has a population of 25,87,685. 81.78 per cent of the population lives in rural areas and 18.22 per cent in urban areas. In Khajuraho, 18.57 per cent of the population belongs to the Scheduled Castes and 15.13 per cent to the Scheduled Tribes. According to the Election Commission data, there were 17,02,794 voters in the 2014 elections. There were 7,95,482 female and 9,07,312 male voters. In 2014, the voter turnout was 51.36 per cent.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Vishnu Dutt Sharma won with 8,11,135 votes, followed by Kavita Singh of Congress with 3,18,753 votes and SP candidate Veer Singh Patel with 40,077 votes.
