BJP's Karan Bhushan Singh Wins by 1,48,843 Votes and received total 5,71,263 votes. BJP's Karan Bhushan Singh defeated SP's Bhagat Ram, who received 4,22,420 votes.

Kaiserganj Election Result Highlights: Karan Bhushan Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Kaiserganj constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,71,263 votes. SP's Bhagat Ram lost the election by a margin of by 1,48,843 votes.

 

In Kaiserganj Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Karan Bhushan Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeat SP's Bhagat Ram, who received 4,22,420 votes.

Kaiserganj is the second Lok Sabha constituency of Bahraich. Kaiserganj, which falls in the contiguous region of Nepal, was under the Gonda West seat in 1952, which was won by Shakuntala Nair of the Jana Sangh. After becoming the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat in 1957, she managed to win this seat in 1967 and 1971 as well.



Before the 2009 delimitation exercise, the Lok Sabha constituency comprised five assembly segments of Bahraich and Barabanki districts - Payagpur, Kaiserganj, Katra, Karnailganj and Tarabganj. After the delimitation exercise, Barabanki was carved out of Kaiserganj Lok Sabha constituency and merged with three assembly segments - Tarabganj, Karnailganj and Katra - in Gonda district.


Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 elections, a total of 12 candidates were trying their luck in the Kaiserganj seat. BJP's Brij Bhushan Singh was in the fray. The Congress has given the ticket to Vinay Kumar Pandey. The seat was won by the SP-BSP-RLD alliance. The BSP has given ticket to Chandradeo Ram Yadav. BJP's Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh retained the seat by securing 5,81,358 votes. BSP candidate Chandradeo Ram Yadav got 3,19,757 votes and Congress candidate Vinay Kumar Pandey got 37,132 votes. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Kaiserganj recorded a voter turnout of 53.56 per cent.
