Jodhpur Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

BJP's Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Wins by 1,15,677 Votes and received total 7,30,056 votes. BJP's Gajendra Singh Shekhawat defeated, INC candidate Karan Singh Uchiyarda, who received 6,14,379 votes.

Jodhpur Election Result Highlights: Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Jodhpur Rajasthan Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 7,30,056 votes. INC candidate Karan Singh Uchiyarda lost the election by a margin of by 1,15,677 votes. 

 

In Jodhpur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Karan Singh Uchiyarda, who received 6,14,379 votes.

Jodhpur Lok Sabha constituency is made up of parts of Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. After the 2008 delimitation, the seat has become Rajput-dominated as the Jat-dominated area here has moved to Pali. Apart from this, the Vishnoi community also has a lot of influence in this seat. In some areas, Muslim votes are decisive. According to the 2011 census, the population is 29,60,625, of which 54.46 per cent is rural and 42.54 per cent is urban. At the same time, 14.91 per cent of the total population belongs to Scheduled Castes and 3.46 per cent to Scheduled Tribes.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: BJP's Gajendra Singh Shekhawat got 7,88,888 votes (won). Congress' Vaibhav Gehlot got 5,14,448 votes. BSP's Mukul Chaudhary got 11,703 votes
