BJP's Dushyant Singh Wins by 3,70,989 Votes and received total 8,65,376 votes. BJP's Dushyant Singh defeated, INC candidate Urmila Jain “bhaya”, who received 4,94,387 votes.

Jhalawar–Baran Election Result Highlights: Dushyant Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Jhalawar–Baran Rajasthan Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 8,65,376 votes. INC candidate Urmila Jain “bhaya” lost the election by a margin of by 3,70,989 votes. 

 

In Jhalawar–Baran Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Dushyant Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Urmila Jain “bhaya”, who received 4,94,387 votes.

Jhalawar-Baran is one of the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Rajasthan. This constituency came into existence after the delimitation of India in 2008. The constituency covers the entire Jhalawar and Baran districts. The Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha constituency is the home turf of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje. After independence, this seat was only Jhalawar, but in the 2008 delimitation, Jhalawar-Baran parliamentary constituency was formed by combining 4 assembly seats of Jhalawar district and 4 assembly seats of Baran district. The BJP has won eight out of the 16 Lok Sabha elections held till 2014. The BJP has been winning this seat since 1989. The Congress won 4 times, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh 2 times, the Bharatiya Lok Dal 1 time and the Janata Party 1 time.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: BJP's Dushyant Singh won by 8,87,400 votes, Congress' Pramod Sharma got 4,33,472 votes, NOTA got 17,080 votes, BSP's Badri Lal got 13,338 votes
