BJP's Rao Rajendra Singh Wins by 1,615 Votes and received total 6,17,877 votes. BJP's Manju Sharma defeated, INC candidate Anil Chopra, who received 6,16,262 votes.

Jaipur Rural Election Result Highlights: Rao Rajendra Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Jaipur Rural Rajasthan Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,17,877 votes. INC candidate Anil Chopra lost the election by a margin of by 1,615 votes. 

 

In Jaipur Rural Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Rao Rajendra Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Anil Chopra, who received 6,16,262 votes.

Jaipur Rural, one of the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Rajasthan, came into existence in the 2008 delimitation by merging parts of Jaipur and Alwar districts. In the Lok Sabha elections held after delimitation, Congress won 1 seat and BJP won 1 seat. In the first Lok Sabha election in 2009, Lalchand Kataria of the Congress defeated Rao Rajendra Singh of the BJP by 52,237 votes. The Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency has a large number of Jat, Brahmin and Scheduled Caste voters. While Gujjar, Yadav, Meena, Rajput, Mali and Vaish voters also have the ability to influence the electoral arithmetic. There are about two to three lakh Jats and about one and a half lakh Gujjars. According to the 2011 census, Jaipur Rural has a population of 27,06,261, of which 82.25 per cent is rural and 17.75 per cent is urban. Scheduled Castes constitute 15.13 per cent of the total population and Scheduled Tribes 8.83 per cent.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore of the BJP won by 8,20,132 votes, Krishna Poonia of the Congress got 4,26,961 votes, NOTA got 9,351 votes and Virendra Singh Bidhuri of the BSP got 7,976 votes
