In Hajipur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Chirag Paswan of the Lok Janshakti Party(Ram Vilas) is declared the winner, securing 615718 votes and surpassing Shiv Chandra Ram of the Rashtriya Janata Dal by 170105 votes.

Hajipur serves as the headquarters and largest city of Vaishali district in Bihar. It ranks as the 16th most populous city in the state, with a total population of 1.47 lakh according to the 2011 census. The Hajipur Lok Sabha seat is reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC). Up to 2019, there have been 16 parliamentary elections for this seat, which has been a stronghold for Ram Vilas Paswan. The Congress Party and Janata Dal each won four times, while the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) won three times. Neither the BJP nor the RJD has won elections for this seat.

 

In the 2019 elections, LJP's Pashupati Kumar Paras won with 541,310 votes. Shivchandra Ram of the RJD came in second with 335,861 votes, and Dasai Chaudhary of the Nationalist Congress Party came in third with 4,875 votes.
