Gorakhpur Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

BJP's Ravi Kishan won against SP's Kajal Nishad. BJP's Ravi Kishan got a total of 5,85,834 votes. SP's Kajal Nishad got 4,82,308 votes. BJP's Ravi Kishan won the seat by 1,03,506 votes.

Gorakhpur Election Result Highlights: Ravi Kishan, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Gorakhpur constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,85,834 votes. SP's Kajal Nishad lost the election by a margin of 1,03,506 votes.

 

In Gorakhpur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Ravi Kishan, candidate of the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated SP's Kajal Nishad, who received 4,82,308 votes.

Gorakhpur is an assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh.  There are around 19.5 lakh voters in the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat, which has a significant number of voters from Nishad, Mallah and Bind castes. There are around 3.5 lakh voters in the constituency. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been an MP from Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency for five consecutive terms from 1998 to 2017. Gorakhpur district has two Lok Sabha constituencies, Gorakhpur and Bansgaon, and nine assembly constituencies -Campierganj, Pipraich, Gorakhpur Urban, Gorakhpur Rural and Sahjanwa.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP actor Ravi Kishan (Ravindra Shukla) registered a won from Gorakhpur seat, he got 7,17,122 votes. On the other hand, SP's Ram Nishad got 4,15,458 votes and Congress' Madhusudan Tripathi got 22,972 votes.
