Gonda Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

BJP's Kirtivardhan Singh won against SP's Shreya Verma. BJP's Kirtivardhan Singh got a total of 4,74,258 votes. SP's Shreya Verma got 4,28,034 votes. BJP's Kirtivardhan Singh won the seat by 46,224 votes.

Gonda Election Result Highlights: Kirtivardhan Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Gonda constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 4,74,258 votes. SP's Shreya Verma lost the election by a margin of 46,224 votes.

 

In Gonda Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Kirtivardhan Singh, candidate of the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated SP's Shreya Verma, who received 4,28,034 votes.

Adjacent to the religious town of Ayodhya, the Gonda Lok Sabha constituency comprises 5 assembly segments - Mankapur, Mehnaun Gonda, Gaura and Utraula. It is 125 km from the state capital Lucknow. The Gonda region is rich in archaeological, historical and religious sites, where a unique confluence of faith and history is seen. If we talk about politics after 1990, then BJP's Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had won since 1991. The BJP has won the seat four times since 1991. The Congress won 2 seats and the BJP won one seat. In the2009 elections, Beni Prasad Verma of the Congress won. 

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, a total of 15 candidates were trying their luck in the Gonda seat. Kirtivardhan Singh was the BJP candidate. The Congress has given ticket to Krishna Patel. The seat was won by the SP-BSP-RLD alliance. SP has given ticket to Vinod Kumar.
