Ghazipur Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

SP's Afzal Ansari won against BJP's Pars Nath Rai. SP's Afzal Ansari got a total of 5,39,912 votes. BJP's Pars Nath Rai got 4,15,051 votes. SP's Afzal Ansari won the seat by 1,24,861 votes.

Ghazipur Election Result Highlights: Afzal Ansari, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Ghazipur constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,39,912 votes. BJP's Pars Nath Rai lost the election by a margin of 1,24,861 votes.

 

In Ghazipur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results,  Afzal Ansari, candidate of the Samajwadi Party defeated BJP's Pars Nath Rai, who received 4,15,051 votes.

There are 80 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh. The constituency covers parts of Ghazipur district. There are 5 Vidhan Sabha constituencies under Ghazipur parliamentary constituency (Janian, Saidpur, Ghazipur Sadar, Jangipur, Jamnia), out of which 2 (Janian and Saidpur) are registered as reserved seats. Triveni Ram of Sukhdev Bhartiya Samaj Party (BJP) won the 2017 elections from Janian assembly constituency, a reserved seat for Scheduled Castes. He defeated Samajwadi Party's Garib by a margin of 5,157 votes. The reserved seat of Saidpur is held by the Samajwadi Party. SP candidate Subhash Pasi defeated BJP's Vidyasagar Sonkar by a margin of 8,710 votes.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Afzal Ansari of BSP won by 5,66,082 votes, Manoj Sinha of BJP got 4,46,690 votes and Ramji of SBSP got 33,877 votes.
