For the UP by-polls, CM Yogi launches the Special 30 campaign.

The task is to gain ten assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh through by-elections in order to make up for the defeat in the Lok Sabha. An elite group of thirty persons has been assembled for this purpose. Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, the deputy chief ministers, were also in attendance. Karhal, Milkipur, Katehari, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Mirapur, Phulpur, Manjhwa, and Sisamau will all have by-polls. The Samajwadi Party has five of these seats, the RLD-Nishad Party holds one, and the BJP holds three. However, these by-polls are seen as a litmus test for Yogi Adityanath, considering how the Samajwadi Party stunned the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.

In Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party, led by Yogi Adityanath, is posing a serious threat to the BJP. In this regard, a large gathering was arranged at his official house in Lucknow. CM Yogi discussed the next course of action for the by-elections and solicited input from all of the ministries at this meeting. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is said to have stated that "only honest and winning candidates will be put on the ballot." The selection process will give attention to the candidate's public persona and impeccable reputation."
