INC candidate Sher Singh Ghubaya wins by 3,242 votes and received total 2,66,626 votes. INC candidate Sher Singh Ghubaya defeated AAP candidate Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar, who received 2,63,384 votes.

Firozpur Election Result Highlights: Sher Singh Ghubaya, candidate of the Indian National Congress won the Firozpur, PunjabConstituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 2,66,626 votes. AAP candidate Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar lost the election by a margin of by 3,242 votes.

Ferozepur is an assembly constituency in Punjab. According to the 2011 census data, Ferozepur has a population of over 20 lakh and 68.92 per cent of its population is literate. The male literacy rate is 75.44 per cent and the female literacy rate is 61.69 per cent. Situated on the banks of the Sutlej river, this city was founded by Firoz Shah Tughlaq. The history of this district is before the independence of India. It is the border between India and Pakistan. In the Fazilka constituency, the samadhis of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru are located. The samadhis of Bhagat Singh and his companions Rajguru and Sukhdev are located on the banks of the Sutlej river in Ferozepur. The district is located on the India-Pakistan border. There are 9 assembly constituencies under the Ferozepur parliamentary constituency. The Ferozepur parliamentary constituency, which has nine assembly segments in three districts, has 3 assembly segments reserved for SCs.
