INC candidate Amar Singh wins by 34,201 votes and received total 3,32,591 votes. INC candidate Amar Singh defeated AAP candidate Gurpreet Singh Gp, who received 2,98,389 votes.

Fatehgarh Sahib Election Result Highlights: Amar Singh, candidate of the Indian National Congress won the Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 3,32,591 votes. AAP candidate Gurpreet Singh Gp lost the election by a margin of by 34,201 votes. 

 

In Fatehgarh Sahib 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Amar Singh, candidate of the Indian National Congress defeated AAP candidate Gurpreet Singh Gp, who received 2,98,389 votes.

Fatehgarh Sahib is a Lok Sabha / Parliamentary constituency in region of Punjab in North India. It is also a sacred pilgrimage site of the Sikh religion. It is the headquarters of Fatehgarh Sahib district, located about 5 km north of Sirhind. Fatehgarh Sahib is named after Guru Gobind Singh's 7-year-old son Fateh Singh, who was captured and buried alive along with his 9-year-old brother Zorawar Singh by the Mughals under the orders of Governor Wazir Khan during the ongoing Mughal-Sikh war in the early 18th century. After the delimitation in 2008, Fatehgarh Sahib was made a new parliamentary seat, this safe seat was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 2009. The Congress won the seat, while the AAP retained the seat.
