The first round of voting in Jammu and Kashmir will take place in only two weeks. The elections are approaching, and political groups are getting ready. Prominent BJP and Congress figures are involved in the state's conflict. Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have the most significant events and gatherings. The two leaders are beginning rallies and meetings this week to support their respective candidacies. On Wednesday, Congress Member Rahul Gandhi will speak at two gatherings in the districts of Ramban and Anantnag.

Once he arrives in Jammu straight from Delhi, Rahul Gandhi will address a gathering in Banihal

Additionally, he will begin the campaign for his party. After arriving in Jammu from New Delhi, Gandhi would initially campaign for former party head Rasool Wani in the Banihal district, according to state party chief Tariq Hamid Karra. The Dooru area of the Anantnag district would be his next destination. He'll be speaking in Dooru at a demonstration in favor of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, a former minister and party general secretary. Later that night, Rahul Gandhi would arrive back in Delhi.

Launching the BJP's electoral campaign is PM Modi

Three rallies around the state are expected to hear from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Two of these will be in Kashmir and one in Jammu. There is going to be a rally at Doda in Jammu. Terrorist strikes have occurred on multiple occasions recently. The BJP campaign will receive a lift from the PM's programme. He is able to discuss in detail the "development" that the state has seen since Article 370 was repealed at this time. A significant concern is also the first-ever SC/ST community quota in assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the first round of voting for the first assembly elections in ten years starts on September 18. According to BJP insiders active in the elections, the party hopes to secure at least 35 seats in Jammu, The Indian Express has learned. Jammu has forty-three assembly constituencies following delimitation. It is also anticipated to win a large number of seats in Kashmir. In the Union Territory, the party aims to become a "key player in government formation".There are 90 people in the new assembly.

"Neither NC nor PDP will be able to form a government on their own in Jammu and Kashmir," a leader of the party stated. The BJP will grow to be a significant force indeed, it will form the government. We'll have enough people."
