In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Sudhakar Singh of the Rashtriya Janata Dal won the Buxar constituency with 438,345 votes, defeating Mithilesh Tiwari of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 30,091 votes.

In Buxar Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Sudhakar Singh of the Rashtriya Janata Dal is declared the winner, securing 438345 votes and surpassing Mithilesh Tiwari of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 30091 votes.

Buxar is a district and Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar. As per the 2011 census, Buxar has a population of 1.706 million, with a literacy rate of around 70%. From 1996 to 2019, except for the 2009 election won by the RJD, the BJP has consistently won this seat, with Lalmuni Chaubey serving as MP for four consecutive terms. The district includes six Assembly seats: Brahmapur, Rajpur, Buxar, Ramgarh, Dumraon, and Dinara.

 

In the 2019 election, BJP's Ashwini Kumar Chaubey retained the seat with 473,053 votes. RJD's Jagadanand Singh received 355,444 votes, and BSP's Sushil Kumar Singh garnered 80,261 votes.
