BJP Plans Nationwide Outreach Ahead of Women’s Reservation Bill Push

Describing the implementation of 33% reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha from 2029 as a big achievement of the Modi government, the BJP has started creating an atmosphere across the country. For this, a special session of Parliament has been called next week in which the Constitution Amendment Bills will be passed.

In view of the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu assembly elections, it is being seen as a big effort to woo women voters. The party's national president Nitin Nabeen has directed the organisation to start nationwide activities from April 11 to raise public awareness and public support ahead of the historic moment of passage of the bill in Parliament.

Press conferences in 100 cities, special strategy of women's conferences

Under this, press conferences will be held in 100 major cities of the country from April 11 to 13. There will be two press conferences in big cities. Along with this, town hall programs will be organized in 15 major cities of the country. In this, eminent women personalities of the society will speak their views. The party has prepared a unique action plan for the show of strength this time.

Under this, only women will be present on the stage of mega women's conferences to be held at 100 places and the speakers will also be women. In states where there is no BJP government, the leader of the opposition and Union ministers have been given the command. In BJP-ruled states, the chief minister himself will lead these programmes.
