BJP's Durgadas (D. D.) Uikey wins by 3,79,761 votes and received total 8,48,236 votes. BJP's Durgadas (D. D.) Uikey defeated INC candidate Ramu Tekam, who received 4,68,475 votes.

Betul Election Result Highlights: Durgadas (D. D.) Uikey, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Betul, Madhya Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 8,48,236 votes. INC candidate Samrat Ramu Tekam lost the election by a margin of by 3,79,761 votes. 

 

In Betul 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Durgadas (D. D.) Uikey, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Ramu Tekam, who received 4,68,475 votes.

Betul Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh state in central India. The seat became reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates after delimitation in 2009. Betul is a Lok Sabha / Parliamentary constituency in Madhya Pradesh state in Central India. There are 8 assembly constituencies under Betul Lok Sabha constituency. The assembly seats are Harsud, Betul, Amla, Ghodadongri, Betul, Amla, Multai and Timarni.

 

The first election to Betul Lok Sabha seat was held in 1951. The Congress won the first two elections. The Congress also won this seat in the 1967 and 1971 elections. In the 1977 elections, the seat went with the Congress and the Bharatiya Lok Dal won it for the first time. However, in 1980, the Congress returned to the seat and Gufran Azam became its MP. The Congress won the next election in 1984. The BJP won here for the first time in 1989. Arif Baig defeated Aslam Sherkhan of the Congress to give the BJP its first win here.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: BJP's Durga Das Uike got 8,11,248 votes (won), Congress' Ramu Tekam got 4,51,007 votes, BSP's Ashok Bhalavi got 23,573 votes
