Kolkata: At the Calcutta High Court on Monday, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju asserted that the State police, responsible for the arrest of Shahjahan Sheikh, the primary suspect in the Sandeshkhali unrest, is actively working to impede the investigation by colluding with the accused. This revelation unfolded during the hearing before a division bench headed by Chief Justice TS Sivagnanam and Justice Hiranmay Bhattacharya.
