The victory in Beed is significant as it signifies the Marathwada region's political shift from BJP-Shiv Sena to Maha Vikas Aghadi. BJP's late mass leader and former Union minister, Gopinath Munde, played a key role in establishing Beed's political identity, enabling the BJP to retain the seat from 1996 to 2019.
