Balurghat Lok Sabha 2024 Election Results Highlights: Sukanta Majumder of the Bhartiya Janata Party, won the Balurghat constituency by 10384 votes.

 

Sukanta Majumder of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and MP of Balurghat was declared the winner of the Balurghat constituency of West Bengal by securing a total vote of 574996 by defeating the All-India Trinamool Congress (AITC) candidate Biplab Mitra in West Bengal by 10386 votes.

The Balurghat constituency is one of the important constituencies of the BJP in West Bengal, which is composed of Itahar, Kushmandi, Kumarganj, Balurghat, Tapan, Gangarampur, and Harirampur. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Sukanta Majumder won the elections by 33293 votes.
