Azamgarh Election Result Highlights: Dharmendra Yadav, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Azamgarh constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,08,239 votes. BJP's Dinesh Nirahua lost the election by a margin of 1,61,035 votes.

Azamgarh Sadar Lok Sabha constituency has five Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) segments. The total number of voters in this Lok Sabha seat is 18,38,930, with 9,70,935 male voters and 8,67,968 female voters. The number of the third gender is likewise greater than 30.

 


Lok Sabha elections2019: In the 2019 elections, SP president Akhilesh Yadav won the Azamgarh seat by 6,21,578 votes. BJP candidate Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua got 3,61,704 votes and SBSP leader Abhimanyu Singh Sunny got 10,078 votes. The voter turnout was 56 percent.
