Kiren Rijiju of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the 2024 Arunachal West Lok Sabha constituency election, securing 205,417 votes and defeating Nabam Tuki of the Indian National Congress by 100,738 votes.

In Arunachal West Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Kiren Rijiju of the Bharatiya Janata Party is declared the winner, securing 205417 votes and surpassing Nabam Tuki of the Indian National Congress by 100738 votes.

Arunachal West is one of the two Lok Sabha constituencies in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. This constituency includes the entire Tawang, West Kameng, East Kameng, Papum Pare, Lower Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Upper Subansiri, and West Siang districts.

 

Historically, it has been a stronghold of the Congress party, which has won the seat six times. Besides the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress, the Arunachal Congress has also had significant influence here. In the 2019 elections, Kiren Rijiju from the BJP won the seat for the second consecutive time, securing 204,553 votes and defeating Congress candidate Nabam Tuki.
