Amritsar Election Result Highlights: Gurjeet Singh Aujla, candidate of the Indian National Congress won the Amritsar, Punjab Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 2,55,181 votes. BJP's Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal lost the election by a margin of by 40,301 votes.

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Gurjeet Singh Aujla won the Amritsar seat with 4,45,032 votes. He defeated BJP's Surendra Singh. Hardeep Singh Puri got 3,45,406 votes, while AAP candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal got 2,0087 votes. The voter turnout in the 2019 elections was 56.34 per cent.
