Maharashtra DCM Ajit Pawar passed away: The incident that shook the politics of Maharashtra took place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Anantrao Pawar died in a plane crash near Baramati airport. He was on his way to Baramati to campaign for Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections when the accident took place.
