6 March 2026, Ahmedabad: Dr. Nandita Palshetkar has been conferred the late Prabha Malhotra Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in recognition of her contribution to reproductive medicine and women's health. The honour was presented at the annual ISAR conference by Dr Amit Patki (president of ISAR) and Dr. Asha Baxi (secretary of ISAR) in the presence of Dr. Bhaskar Pal (president of FOGSI) and leading experts from across the country.
With over three and half decades of experience, Dr. Palshetkar is the founder director of Bloom IVF and one of India's leading IVF specialists. She has introduced several advanced reproductive technologies in the country. She has served as president of national organizations in obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, and endoscopy and played a key role in strengthening academic training and article standards in assisted reproduction. Dr Palshetkar has also been conferred the honorary FRCOG by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, UK, for her work in women's health. A respected academician and policy contributor, she has delivered more than 100 lectures and served on a national committee shaping art regulations.
Palshetkar told Bru Times, "Some moments in life invite us to pause, reflect, and feel deeply grateful. Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 30th Annual Conference of the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) in Ahmedabad was one such humbling moment."
