In a shocking revelation, Esha Ganguly, the stepdaughter of popular television actor Rupali Ganguly, has come forward with serious allegations of domestic abuse. In a series of posts on social media, Esha claimed that Rupali Ganguly physically assaulted her mother and described her father as a "very abusive man."

According to Esha, "I was heartbroken and sobbing in high school because of the women who purposefully entered our lives, ended my parents' marriage, and physically assaulted my mother in my grandmother's home in Mumbai." The most terrible thing I have ever experienced is seeing her success. I am not blaming Rupali alone; I have also found the courage to claim that my father is to blame. It is a two-party street because he was also an extremely violent and emotional abuser. I was initially rather alarmed when this news got viral, and he advised me to remove the message.

He made an effort to shut down me whenever I tried to talk about it. My father has been absent from my life for over 20 years, despite my desire for love, respect, and a relationship with him. He probably would not even attend my wedding. Following my father's instruction to remove the post, I spent my entire life reflecting and suffering alone. Why should I listen to a man who never prioritised his wife above women with whom he had an affair and never stood by us? He never defended my mother or myself. He never stood up for me, never expressed regret to me in public, and never acknowledged my sister and me.

Neither Rupali Ganguly nor her representatives have issued a public response regarding the allegations. The actor, known for her lead roles in popular television series, has maintained a public image that contrasts sharply with the accusations.

In 2013, Rupali wed Ashwin. They have a son. Ashwin's previous marriage had two daughters. Esha, age 26, resides in New Jersey, USA. She claims that Ashwin and her mother were married in 1997 and divorced in 2008.
